Vitaletheine is probably made from 4'-phospho-pantetheine after this cofactor for fat and energy metabolism has been formed from L-cysteine and D-panothenic acid (Vitamin B5). Too much acetyl-CoA tends to inhibit the production of these intermediates early on in the synthetic process, perhaps explaining why excessive alcohol intake is detrimental to health. Note that accumulating fat is a sign of poor fat metabolism, and probably addressable metal toxicity, poor immunity, and poor general health.
