Notes:

Interferon-gamma is also turned off in mice treated with vitalethine, but primarily in those infected with the mAIDS virus cocktail. Thus, this lymphokine (cytokine) is also decreased at the same time that the antibody production is increased by vitalethine. Note that the lymphokine (cytokine) stimulation of immune cell proliferation would make the DNA of the immune cells susceptible to virus infection, so vitalethine should help to prevent the spread of viral genes like AIDS, that attack immune cells throughout the immune system, while producing antibodies to tie up the viral particles, and perhaps even rupture virally-infected cells before the viruses can be fullly assembled into their infective forms.
